  • Home improvements have begun at the White House June 14, 2010
There are many homeowners across our country postponing the sale of their home due to the precariousness of the housing industry. Because a home sale is not imperative, some owners are choosing to make home improvements, either by their own hand or by hiring professionals. The White House, which theoretically will never be for sale, is [...] […]

According to The Conference Board, economic confidence is as high as it’s been since August 2007 - four months before the start of the recession. Americans are optimistic again. Saratoga Sees New Virtual Tour for National Open House Weekend; 8 Granite Lake Drive, Greenfield

I was finally able to borrow a professional level camera and take some fresh images of 8 Granite Lake drive, Greenfield, Saratoga. The last virtual tour and other still images were a collection that spanned a couple of years taken with a variety of cameras, both film and digital. This new set of images gives a much better and consistent visualization of the property as it is today.

The new video virtual tour is loaded on YouTube for your viewing pleasure. Here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yr9ZqsdCi4g

Beginning this weekend April 18 with National Open House weekend and continuing for the next 2 weeks we’re going to have open houses on Sunday. So the dates are Sunday, April 18, April 25 and May 2, from 1-3PM at 8 Granite Lake Drive, Greenfield, Saratoga. So that’s three weekends in which there will be an opportunity to simply stop by and have a look. The media is certainly doing its part to help promote the idea of National Open House weekend I hope it helps, here’s a short post from the Post Star: http://www.poststar.com/app/blogs/?p=44338&cat=479 And also a link to the NYS Association of Realtors: http://www.nysar.com/ that you may find useful.

As much as I personally love photography, there is nothing like seeing a place in person to give you a true understanding. Photographs tend to convey only certain aspects of any subject, regardless of how excellent any given image may be, seeing something or someone in person always gives you more. Some of the brokers who attended our open house suggested that the last round of images just didn’t do the place justice and I agreed with them. I had always wanted to do a better job of the images but I just lacked access to a better piece of equipment. So this round of images is an improvement and if I can get my hands on a full light kit and an entire day in the house I may take even more images. For now though I feel good that these images do a much better job of representing the place.

While I was with camera in hand I also created a portrait of the waterfall on the back of the property, you can enjoy the slideshow I created by visiting this site: http://saratogianrealestate.com/gmlightroom/waterfall/photos/

There’s nothing better than experiencing the place first hand. 8 Granite Lake Drive is just three miles from Saratoga. We call peace, privacy and proximity. Maybe you’ll call it home.
